If your financial institution is not listed and you have concern about Zelle App then you should check with your financial institution about any other zero cost or low cost payment method are supported.
For Participating Financial Institutions you will use your Financial Institution's App or Website
How does it work?:
You login to Online Portal or Smartphone App of your Financial Institution
You look for option which says "Send Money by Zelle", "Send Money by e-mail" or something similar to that
One Time Action: Create a Recipient. Call it "Troop 125" with e-mail address of treasurer@mptroop125.org
Initiate process of sending money. You will need to provide following information
To (Recipient you created earlier "Troop 125")
Amount
Date
Memo (Very Important) Mention Scout's Name and Purpose of the Payment
Double check your information and submit the request
Done
Very Important: Your bank will send Troop an e-mail which notifies us who sent money, how much and what was Memo field. This Memo information is needed so that we can credit it properly to your scout's account. This information does not show up in Troop's Bank Account.
This method should be used instead of writing checks to Troop if your bank participates in Zelle.
Thanks for your cooperation.
