Why Scoutbook?
Records maintained by Troop 125 are currently available only to a handful adult leaders. More importantly, parents do not have access to any information related to their Scout - event registrations, payments, and probably most importantly, advancement.
With the adoption of Scoutbook, we hope to change that. A parent will need a Scoutbook account, and will be provided complete access to their son's records.
You will not only be able to see his advancement records, but even update the records. The records will need to be verified by the Advancement Coordinator though.
You will be able to see how much balance your son's prepaid account has.
The ASMs will simply need to confirm the updates made by the parent as against entering the records
Adult leaders will be able to create reports that are currently created manually
